Are these safe to install above a shower?

Visual Comfort bathroom ceiling lights are IP44 rated. Directly above a shower (Zona 1) you need IP65, so check the specific product page. Most of our bathroom ceiling range is approved for Zona 2 and above. CEI 64-8 compliant.

What IP rating do I need above a bathtub?

Directly over the tub (Zona 1) you need IP65 minimum. Above 225 cm from the tub edge or further than 60 cm horizontally (Zona 2) IP44 is sufficient per CEI 64-8. Always verify with your electrician.

Will VC Gallery help me check Zona compliance?
