How Skyline Design orders reach you
Once your order is confirmed at VC Gallery, we prepare the shipment from the Skyline Design European stock and our freight partner delivers to your address across mainland Europe. You receive tracking as soon as the shipment is dispatched. Our Milan address at Via Filippo Turati 3 is our showroom, open by appointment for clients who wish to see samples in person.
Every Skyline piece is built on lightweight aluminium frames with high-density synthetic fibres and marine-grade polyester, engineered for outdoor use across all European climates. Assembly is minimal on most items and covered in the packing documentation.
Shipping cost
Skyline is outdoor furniture, so shipping is calculated on volume rather than order value. The rate is transparent for mainland destinations. Islands and non-mainland countries are quoted individually.

The final volume of your shipment is confirmed when your order is prepared, based on the actual packed dimensions.

Lead time starts from order confirmation. Skyline collections are held in European stock, which allows fast dispatch across mainland Europe. Customizations (finish, fabric, custom sizes on request) are handled by the atelier and extend production time; timing is confirmed on the SKU.
Quote for islands and non-mainland destinations
Some destinations require an individual quote because access, ferry routes, and customs affect the final cost.
Countries and regions on quote: Switzerland, Norway, Ireland, Cyprus, Monaco, Marbella (Spain), Tenerife (Canary Islands), Sicily, Corsica, Malta, Balearic Islands, other Canary Islands, and any destination outside mainland European Union.
How it works. Send us your project via the contact form with the SKU or collection name, quantity, and delivery address. We return a shipping quote within 1 to 2 business days. Once you approve the quote, we confirm the order and dispatch from the European stock.
For destinations outside the European Union such as Switzerland and Norway, customs duties and local VAT are billed to you separately on delivery by the freight carrier. VC Gallery cannot pre-calculate these because they depend on your customs authority.
VAT on Skyline Design orders
- Private buyer The displayed price includes 22 percent Italian VAT. You pay the site price and nothing else within the European Union.
- Business buyer with a valid EU VAT number VAT is removed at your request. Contact our sales team by email or WhatsApp with your VAT number before checkout, or ask for a formal quotation. We validate the number in VIES, issue the invoice with reverse charge, and you account for VAT in your own country.
- Buyer in Switzerland or Norway Non-EU VAT numbers do not change our treatment. The displayed price applies, and destination duties and local VAT are billed on delivery by the freight carrier.
Customization and delivery
Skyline offers finish and fabric customization on many collections, particularly the seating and lounging ranges. Custom-fabric orders are produced at the atelier and add production time on top of standard transit. This is confirmed on the SKU at order time and typically adds at least 2 weeks.
Standard in-stock configurations dispatch from the European stock without production delay. Send us the SKU and finish preference and we confirm what is possible and how it affects timing before you commit.
What to do on delivery day
Skyline furniture is shipped in protective packaging designed for international freight. Verifying the shipment at delivery is the single most important step.
- Photograph the outer packaging before opening.
- If the packaging shows visible damage, open it in the presence of the driver.
- Check every piece for scratches, dents, torn fabric, or bent frames.
- Do not assemble the furniture until you are satisfied it is intact.
- If damage is present, take photos and contact VC Gallery within 24 hours.
Why this matters. Transport insurance claims are honored only when damage is reported at delivery. If you sign the delivery note as accepted and open the packaging later, proving in-transit damage becomes very difficult. This applies across all Skyline Design authorized dealers.
Returns and claims
- Returns (change of mind) Available on Skyline in-stock items within 14 days of delivery, provided the piece is unassembled and the packaging is intact. A 15 percent restocking fee is retained. Return shipping is at your expense. As an alternative, we can arrange an exchange for another Skyline product from the catalog: in that case the 15 percent fee is waived and you pay only return shipping.
- Factory defect Fabric flaw, weld issue, incorrect assembly, or similar production issue. Send photos. Options: on-site repair or replacement part. Return shipping is free.
- Transport damage Scratches, dents, torn fabric discovered on delivery. Photograph and report immediately. We file an insurance claim with the freight partner and arrange replacement. Return shipping is free.
- Wrong item If VC Gallery shipped the wrong SKU, we arrange free exchange. Return shipping is free.
- Custom-fabric orders No refund on change of mind because the piece was produced to your specification. Only claims apply.
