For Portugal, Greece, the Nordics and Eastern EU destinations, transit is fourteen to twenty-one days. Switzerland is served on the same continental terms. Delivery is included on orders above two thousand five hundred euros; below that threshold, shipping is quoted per fixture and destination. UK orders are handled directly by Visual Comfort, not through us. Every fixture is wired for European 220-240V 50Hz. Every Visual Comfort fixture we sell carries the full manufacturer warranty of two years from purchase, honoured under Italian consumer law and harmonised across the EU. Coverage includes manufacturing defects, electrical failure under normal use, and finish issues that are not caused by external damage. Installation errors, physical damage after delivery, and misuse are not covered. When a claim is needed, you contact VC Gallery directly with photos and your order number; we handle the claim with Visual Comfort on your behalf, so you never need to open a case in the United States. Because we are an authorized dealer, every fixture ships in original packaging with certification labels, and serial numbers match the Visual Comfort registry. Our showroom at Milan showroom at Via Turati 3, 20121 Milano, is open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 19:00. The space rotates quarterly and displays a curated selection of Visual Comfort fixtures in room contexts: statement chandeliers over dining scenes, wall sconces in corridor and bedroom setups, table and floor lamps against seating arrangements. For clients outside Italy who cannot travel to Milan, we also run remote consultations by video call: we walk you through fixtures on camera, confirm scale against your project drawings, and discuss finish options.

Fixture selection for lighting is rarely about the product alone. Ceiling height, room dimensions, existing hardware finishes and installation constraints all shape the answer, and getting them wrong is the single most common reason customers return a piece. For ceiling fixtures, we recommend confirming three things before ordering: the ceiling material and its weight capacity, the minimum floor-to-fixture clearance (usually two metres), and the drop height appropriate to your ceiling height. As a working guide, a 2.30 m ceiling allows around 30 cm of fixture drop, a 2.50 m ceiling around 50 cm, and a 3 m ceiling up to a full metre. Kitchen islands are an exception where fixtures can sit lower, typically 76 to 91 cm above the island surface. For bathrooms, most Visual Comfort sconces are rated for condensation zones rather than direct-shower zones.
