Delivery in Italy, Europe and worldwide

VC Gallery delivers lighting and furniture from Milan to Italy, across Europe and, on request, worldwide. What you pay for delivery depends on two things: where the order goes and which brand you buy. This page explains both; each brand page has the full terms.

Where we deliver and how you order

How it works. In Italy and Europe, brands in stock are ordered online and the delivery cost is shown at checkout. Outside Europe and in the United Kingdom, every order is placed through a quote.

Non-EU Europe means Switzerland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Iceland, Andorra, Vatican City, Serbia, North Macedonia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Kosovo.

Made-to-order brands are quoted everywhere, including Italy. Visual Comfort & Co. is not available in the United Kingdom and the United States; everywhere else outside Europe it is quoted on request.

Rates in this table apply to Italy and Europe. Outside Europe and in the United Kingdom, delivery for every brand is calculated in the quote: see delivery to the UK, the USA and the rest of the world. For a brand not listed here, the product page shows whether you can order online or request a quote.

Delivery outside Europe

We deliver to the United Kingdom, the United States and the rest of the world on request. Every order outside Europe is placed through a quote that includes delivery. Local taxes, any import duty and the carrier's fee are paid on delivery. Visual Comfort & Co. is not available in the United Kingdom and the United States; all other brands can be quoted.

Orders with several brands

Each brand ships on its own terms, and the delivery cost of each brand is added up at checkout.

Visual Comfort €1,600 and Quintiesse €900 to Paris: €100 + €50 = €150.
A Skyline Design sofa for €5,007 and a Visual Comfort chandelier to Munich: the sofa ships at €400 per m³, the chandelier at the Visual Comfort rate. The Visual Comfort part does not count toward free Skyline delivery over €7,000.

VAT and import duties

Italy, EU and Monaco. The price on the site includes VAT. You pay the site price plus delivery and nothing on delivery.
EU businesses. With a valid EU VAT number outside Italy, the order is invoiced without Italian VAT under the reverse-charge rule. Send your VAT number by email or WhatsApp before checkout.
Non-EU Europe. At checkout you pay the delivery cost only. Local VAT (Switzerland 8.1%, Norway 25%), any import duty and the carrier's fee are collected on delivery.
United Kingdom, United States and the rest of the world. Local VAT or sales tax, any import duty and the carrier's fee are paid on delivery. The amount is set by your customs authority, so we cannot calculate it in advance.
Islands and special territories. For the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla, local import taxes may be collected on delivery. Contact us before ordering and we will confirm the terms for your address.

On delivery, returns and claims

Check on arrival. Photograph the packaging before opening. If it is damaged, open it in front of the driver and sign the delivery note with a reservation. Report damage with photos within 48 hours of delivery: after that we cannot open a transport damage claim.
Defects, transport damage, wrong item. Return shipping is free and we arrange a repair or replacement. Details in the claims policy.
Change of mind. Private customers can return an order within 14 days of delivery without a fee. You pay only the return shipping. Pieces made to your specifications or personalised for you cannot be returned, and business orders with a VAT number follow trade terms. Details on the returns page.

Frequently asked questions

Do you deliver outside Europe?

Yes, on request. We prepare a quote that includes delivery. Local taxes, any import duty and the carrier's fee are paid on delivery. Details: delivery to the UK, the USA and the rest of the world.

Do you deliver to the United Kingdom?

Yes, on request, for all brands except Visual Comfort & Co., which we cannot sell in the UK. We quote delivery individually; UK VAT (20%), any import duty and the carrier's fee are paid on delivery.

Can I buy Visual Comfort in the United States or the United Kingdom?

No. Visual Comfort & Co. is not available from VC Gallery in the United States and the United Kingdom. All other brands in our catalogue can be quoted for these countries.

Can I order several brands in one order?

Yes. Delivery is calculated for each brand separately and added up at checkout. For example, Visual Comfort €1,600 and Quintiesse €900 to Paris ship for €100 + €50 = €150.

Do I pay import duties in Switzerland or Norway?

Yes. At checkout you pay the delivery cost only. Local VAT (Switzerland 8.1%, Norway 25%), any import duty and the carrier's fee are collected on delivery.

How much is delivery for made-to-order brands?

Vistosi, Oty Light, IDL, Malerba, Sevensedie, Monitillo, Vimercati and Swan are made to order, so delivery is calculated in your quote together with production time.
