Explore Oty Light Lighting

Oty Light, in depth

Everything you might want to know before ordering an Oty Light fixture from VC Gallery.

"How do I know I'm buying an authentic Oty Light?"

Oty Light fixtures are made by Oty Light Srl in Peseggia di Scorzè, near Venice. VC Gallery is an authorized Oty Light dealer: orders are placed with the factory directly and each fixture is covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

Authorized dealer. We order every piece from Oty Light; nothing comes from third-party stock.
Italian production. Oty Light designs and makes its fixtures in Italy and holds ISO 9001 certification.

If you are comparing Oty Light against unauthorized resellers, send us the SKU and we will confirm the piece against the current Oty Light catalogue before you place the order.

"Does Oty Light ship to Italy, France, Germany and the rest of Europe?"

Yes. Oty Light collections are made to order after your order is confirmed, then delivered across Italy and Europe. The lead time is shown on each product page; for most models it is currently 45 to 60 days.

Because every piece is made to order, delivery is calculated in your quote. The United Kingdom, the United States and the rest of the world are served on request. Full terms: Oty Light delivery. For a delivery estimate on a large project, send us the SKU list and the site postcode through the contact page.

Two Brothers and a Winter Night

Oty Light was founded by the brothers Andrea and Simone Pamio. The company describes its start as a university dream born on a winter night, between a mathematics book and a civil code, and as an entrepreneurial inheritance from their father Eugenio. Since 1999 Oty has designed and sold lighting with a modern design and a strong technical content.

The company still works from Peseggia di Scorzè, near Venice. Its catalogue covers both architectural lighting, such as trimless recessed spotlights and track systems, and decorative pieces in metal and blown glass. Explore the full Oty Light catalog.

The POP Family

POP is the most extensive product line in the Oty Light catalogue. What began as small round recessed spotlights now includes pendants, chandeliers, wall lights, floor lamps and track versions, all in the same visual language of clean cylinders and minimal detailing.

POP Recessed. Trimless recessed spotlights that sit flush with the ceiling.
POP Pendants. Small-format pendants like Cherie, Chapeau and Bijou for kitchens, bedsides and dining tables.
POP Chandeliers. Cluster and arc chandeliers for statement rooms, up to the P40 arc 400 cm wide.
POP Wall and Floor. Wall lights and floor lamps in the same family.

Learn more on the POP collection page.

"Which Oty Light collections are the most iconic?"

Six collections define Oty Light, from trimless recessed aluminium to sculptural blown glass.

POP. The trimless recessed family, extended into pendants, chandeliers, wall and floor lamps.
MoMa. Sculptural mouth-blown glass globes offered as pendants and wall lights, from small to large diameters.
Jumbo. Chandeliers with seven or fourteen blown glass elements grouped into a single fixture (J07 and J14).
Club. Cone pendants in metal for dining tables and hospitality.
X-Rail. A track system in rectangular, linear and angular configurations, for open-plan living rooms.
Bijou. Compact pendants from the POP family, often used over kitchen islands.

How to Combine Trimless Recessed and Decorative Fixtures

Oty Light lets a designer specify trimless recessed lighting and decorative fixtures from the same catalogue. A short checklist helps you plan an interior where the two layers work together.

Plan the recessed layer first. Use POP recessed spots to wash a wall, and a wider grid for ambient light.
Choose the decorative anchor. A dining table wants a Jumbo chandelier or a row of POP pendants. A staircase wants a vertical cascade of POP or Bijou units.
Match the finish. Keep the metal finish consistent across the recessed and decorative layers.
Confirm dimming. Send us the SKU and we confirm dimmability and the driver for the exact model.
Check the lead time. The lead time is shown on each product page. For larger projects, send the full SKU list.

For a multi-SKU project quote, use the contact page.

"Will an Oty Light fixture work on European mains, and what's the warranty?"

Oty Light is an Italian brand and its fixtures are made for European mains. No adapter is needed between the fixture and the mains, and every fixture is ready to install by a qualified European electrician.

Voltage. Oty Light collections are made for European 220–240V mains.
Warranty. Every fixture is covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
Light source. Most models have integrated LED. Where a fixture takes a bulb, bulbs are not included and are bought separately. The light source is listed on each product page.
Certification. CE marked.

Trade Program and Custom Oty Light Commissions

Many Oty Light fixtures can be adapted for a project: longer drops for pendants, different finishes and configurations for hospitality and residential projects. What is possible is confirmed for each SKU.

VC Gallery works with architects, interior designers and hospitality studios across Europe through the trade program. Our team prepares the quote and coordinates the order with Oty Light. For a custom quote, use the contact page with the SKU list, drop and finish requirements.

I was a little nervous when purchasing a large chandelier from VC Gallery Milan as this was my first purchase and a high value item. I took my time to make my decision. I placed my order at the end of March and received the item at the end of April. I dealt with Svetlana who made sure to keep in touch with me from start to finish. She also checked in once the item was delivered to see if everything was fine. It was a while before my electrician had the availability to install the chandelier. But once the item was installed I let Svetlana know that all parts were intact and installed. All in all I had a really positive experience. I would just say that sometimes the 14 days to raise any concerns post delivery may not be feasible for larger items that require trades people to unbox and install.
