Can the Asalea 16" Double Bath Sconce be installed next to a shower or bath?
Only outside the wet zones. Despite the name, it is rated IP20, so under CEI 64-8 it must be installed outside zones 0, 1 and 2 – more than 60 cm from the edge of the bath or shower. Above a washbasin on the mirror wall is the usual position.
Who designed the Asalea 16" Double Bath Sconce, and are CAD files available?
It is designed by AERIN for the Visual Comfort Signature Collection. The spec sheet, DWG CAD file, Revit family and SketchUp model are available for this model for bathroom and project drawings.
What bulbs does the Asalea 16" Double Bath Sconce use?
Two E14 bulbs, G16.5 globe shape, LED up to 5.5 W each – about 800–1000 lumens in total. Because the glass is clear, the bulb is visible, so choose a decorative clear or filament LED globe.
How far does the Asalea Double Bath Sconce project from the wall?
It projects 19 cm from the wall and mounts on a 14 cm round backplate. Leave enough space at the side of the mirror and check it does not interfere with a mirror cabinet door.
Which finishes are available for the Asalea 16" Double Bath Sconce?
Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass and Polished Nickel, both with clear glass. Polished Nickel matches chrome or nickel taps; antique brass suits warm brass fittings and marble with warm veining.
