Novecento, by Romani Saccani Architetti Associati, reduces the traditional Murano chandelier to its most recognisable element — its profile — and rebuilds that silhouette as a 360° outline in blown glass. The radial stripes of the crystal or white rigadin glass evoke the arms of the historic candelabra while keeping a thoroughly contemporary flavour. Raised on a slender glossy chrome stem, the floor lamp becomes a tall, elegant column of textured light for living rooms and lounges.
