FAQs
How big is the Barton Single Arm Sconce?
It is 33 cm tall and 12.7 cm wide, and projects 10.2 cm from the wall, on a 12.7 cm round backplate. The low projection suits a narrow corridor or the wall beside a bathroom mirror.
What light source does the Barton Single Arm Sconce use?
An integrated LED of 9 W with an output of 1000 lumens, diffused by etched crystal. There is no separate bulb to fit, which keeps maintenance simple in a bathroom or hallway.
Can the Barton Single Arm Sconce be installed in a bathroom?
Only outside the wet zones. It is rated IP20, so under CEI 64-8 it must be installed outside zones 0, 1 and 2 – more than 60 cm from the edge of the bath or shower, for example beside the vanity mirror.
Does the Barton Single Arm Sconce need an earth connection?
Yes. It is a Class I fixture, so it must be connected to earth. It mounts on a 12.7 cm round backplate; plan the cable position with your electrician before finishing or tiling the wall.
Which finishes are available for the Barton Single Arm Sconce?
Natural Brass, Bronze and Polished Nickel, all with etched crystal. It is designed by Ralph Lauren for the Visual Comfort Signature Collection; a Revit family and a SketchUp model are available for this model.
